Environmental Toxins
Protect Yourself and Your Loved Ones !
Toxic as our world has become, we can’t really expect to be healthy if we don’t actively work for it. For long term wellness, we suggest a thoroughgoing personal wellness program, with specific measures to reduce the impact of environmental toxins :
- Reduce, then eliminate any remaining junk food, soda, white flour, hyper-sugar and hyper-caffeine consumption in your diet.
- Find out about and reduce additives and preservatives in your food, and learn to make safer food choices.
- Give fresh fruits and vegetables - organic (resource) (resource) wherever possible - a bigger place in your life. Wash all fruits and vegetables thoroughly before eating !
- Drink 6-8 large glasses of water daily (resource). Use filtered or spring water to avoid the toxins found in almost all tap water.
- Evaluate Your Skin and Body Care Products for toxicity, and find safer ones
- Replace toxic home cleaning products with Non-Toxic Home Cleaning Measures, and/or find non-toxic products at your health food store.
- Reduce toxins in your indoor environment. Toxins are pervasive in our homes, where concentrations of volatile organic compounds, for instance, can be twice to five times what they are outdoors. Creating a Toxin-Free Home looks at problems - and solutions - in an impressively systematic way.
- Explore specific and direct measures available to get environmental toxins out of your body, and out of the bodies of your loved ones.
- Learn more about environmental toxic substances and share the information further.
- Link up with others who are concerned, and speak out to your elected officials.
